Infant Wish List 2009
Infant • Junior West
Infant/Toddler Play Yard:
- Tarp(s) (for shade) – Miss Lois requested, to get a tarp ASAP, as it gets so hot outside during the summer. She suggested a large one, she could cut for attaching to the inside corners of the fence, and for a long, wide strip to attach to the top of the wood over the slide – to the fence. In addition, something for over the sandbox, for shade. “The children really like to be outside, but they can’t be for long because they get too hot, and there isn’t any shade.”
- Bench (new)
- Platform on the slide is rough= needs sanding
- Weeds underneath the slide need to be cleaned out or area needs to be enclosed
- Ground needs work: cleaning out stones, adding good topsoil (it’s very uneven)
then grass seed or sod
- Tree – for shade
Infant Play Yard:
- Ground needs leveling, filling in with good topsoil, grass seed or sod
- Planter boxes and built in benches
- Are the berries on the surrounding bushes okay, if an infant accidentally puts one in their mouth?
- What kinds of flowers could be in the planter boxes that would be okay if an infant put one in their mouth?

- Go over blood-borne pathogens/proper procedures for disposal.
