Cindy Taylor

Cindy Taylor, the newest trustee on the MMS Board, is a retired public school educator. Cindy grew up in Allen Park. Upon graduation from MSU with a degree in Elementary Education, Cindy began her teaching career in Dearborn Heights. After twenty years of successful teaching at the upper elementary and middle school levels, she became an elementary principal. After five years in that position, she completed her career serving as the principal of Grosse Ile Middle School for seven years. Cindy has two masters' degrees from EMU in education: Reading and Educational Leadership.

Continuing her belief in life-long learning, Cindy is currently taking art classes at MCCC and spends many hours reading and creating jewelry. She lives here in Monroe with her husband, David, who serves as Superintendent of Monroe Public Schools.
