Marian Rey McIntyre

Marian Rey McIntyre was raised in Monroe. She attended Kingswood School Cranbrook (now Cranbrook Kingswood) as a boarder for high school. She graduated from Vanderbilt University with a degree in Economics and with a concentration in French. She also holds two Masters of Arts from the University of Michigan School of Education. Since graduation, has been employed at Random House in New York, worked in a summer camp leader in Lexington, Virginia and been a staff member for The Nature Conservancy Virginia office in Charlottesville. Marian Rey has volunteered for many years as a French teacher for 3, 4, and 5-year-olds at Dearborn Montessori Academy and currently at Birmingham Montessori School.  She has also trained many elementary students to be peer mediators.  

Marian Rey is married to David Griffiths. They have three children--Hattie (12), Lane (9), and Sam (5). They live in Bloomfield Hills.
