Teresa Hales

Teresa is new to Meadow Montessori this year!  She comes to MMS from Salt Lake City, Utah. 

Teresa was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio where she graduated from Western Hills High School.  After high school, she attended the University of Cincinnati before traveling to England for 18 months.  She returned to Cincinnati but quickly moved to Bountiful, Utah where she met and married Craig Hales.  Since then, Teresa has raised three children; Zachariah (16), Isaac (12) and Hannah (7); moved from Utah to Michigan, Michigan to Guam, Guam to Salt Lake City, and finally Salt Lake City back to Michigan.

Teresa completed her BA in Organizational Development from Spring Arbor University and her MA in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix campus in Guam.  She worked for a year as a project manager in Guan before moving to Salt Lake City.  

Teresa taught Elementary Education at Montessori at Riverton in Utah for two years prior to her move to Michigan.  Last summer, Teresa attended Elementary 1 training at the Institute for Advanced Montessori Studies, located at the Barrie School in Rockville Maryland.
