Maureen Spotts

Maureen Spotts has been a member of the Meadow Montessori family for three years.  She is a former homeschooling mother of six children.   When homeschooling high school became a challenge, she began looking for a school that would be a good transitional experience for her children.  Meadow Montessori was the perfect choice.   She first enrolled her oldest son Kyle.  The following year her son Kaleb joined the middle school.

This year Maureen joins our staff as an assistant to Holly Abrams in the Children’s House West, and Joel, Daniel and Nathan, her other three sons, join us as students in the middle school, upper elementary, and kindergarten classrooms.

Maureen lives on a family farm with her husband Rick and enjoys gardening, reading, and spending time with her family.

You will often find her in our school greenhouse, chicken coop, and outdoors where she spends time making our school grounds a beautiful place for all of us to enjoy.
