Denise joined MMS in August 2007 as an intern, and in 2008, she completed her Montessori training at Adrian Dominican Montessori Teacher Education Institute in Adrian, Michigan.  Denise works with Dawn Weatherholt in Children's House North. Denise is also a licensed Kindermusik educator and offers music classes at Meadow Montessori in the afterschool enrichment programs.

For several years Denise has loved working with children, as a religious education teacher at her church and as a Girl Scout leader. She and her husband Dave have two children, and the youngest is a student at Meadow.

Denise loves spending time with her family, the outdoors, gardening and her pets. She is also active as president of the Friends of the Library in Petersburg.
